Our Team

Yaniv founded Lumina in 2004, and has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, putting him at the forefront of young entrepreneur web developers.

When he’s not listening to the Blues, he plays it on his piano. Yaniv also enjoys hiking, checking out fun new gadgets, and playing FIFA. A large portion of his time is spent with customers in-person.

Janet has always been a valuable and integral part of the Lumina team, handling everything from managing the office, finances, as well as many of the day-to-day tasks that help keep Lumina running full steam. She also assists in the coordination of many fun office events that help keep the team bond going strong! Janet is an important team player and is always on top of her game, thriving in a fluctuating environment, while still maintaining balance. Having vast experience in several different fields of work, Janet is instrumental in ensuring that Lumina is operating smoothly. Impressively, she also speaks several languages and continues to learn more!

In her spare time, Janet loves to take in some quite down time to read, or get her zen fitness on practicing yoga. She also loves to dance, whether it is at home just having fun, or out and about on the town with friends or family. Janet is always looking for fun new ways to stay active. Additionally, she is well traveled, and continues to discover new places whenever she gets the chance!

Jessica has 10+ years in the creative industry and leads our design team in the creative process of all projects from initial conception to completion.

Shuting is our senior graphic designer, with a large range of experience including web design, digital media, and video production. Shuting has a great ability to understand the concept behind a design or idea, allowing her designs to not only be creative, but really meet the needs of the project as a whole. With her verstility, Shuting has helped elevate our design capabilities to the next level which carries through to the whole team.

In her free time, she loves to paint and travel, as well as exploring different museums and exhibitions.

Nanxi is an accomplished graphic designer, having degrees in Digital Media Production and Graphic Design from SUNY as well as the Wanli University in China. Working with both web and graphic design, Nanxi truly excels at bringing any clients' vision to life, whether it's a large website project or a logo design and everything in between. Nanxi's creativity and great eye for detail shines through her work, from conceptualization to delivery. Nanxi is a true team player and collaborating with her on any project is always a great pleasure.

On her spare time, Nanxi most importantly enjoys Chinese Calligraphy, as well as anything related to film, both watching and recording, having been the reason for choosing Digital Media Production as her major. She also enjoys make up artisty, as it's the easiest way to turn people into any kind of character as well as drawing and attending concerts.

Belarus-born, Brooklyn-raised, Vera is a theatre producer turned project coordinator. With a background full of fruitful collaboration, thoughtful design, and a determination to meet deadlines, Vera makes a great addition to the team.

When she's not behind a screen, she finds joy in adventuring around the world, conquering mountains, and dancing like no one’s watching.
